I want to thank Ancora Pain Recovery. Before finding you I was being treated by the VA for dystonia. I was on 23 different meds and was only given a once a year procedure. I thought I was going to die, and I wanted to die. Since coming to Ancora Pain Recovery I feel as if my life has taken on a whole new direction. Dr. Campbell re-evaluated my medications, talked to me about procedure options and introduced me to physical therapy (mechanical diagnosis & treatment) and massage therapy to help combat the symptoms of dystonia.
I recently began acupuncture treatments with Dr. Campbell. Never having done this before, I was a little apprehensive, but very excited at the possibility of an additional means of pain relief. Before scheduling the initial appointment, Shannon, the new patient coordinator, was very helpful in answering all my preliminary questions. Once the treatment plan was in place, she offered to coordinate my feedback communications (emails) with Dr. Campbell. This has made it so easy to keep him informed of the requested post-acupuncture status and to get his guidance for continued progress. I commend Shannon for her professional, helpful attitude--something I feel I don't see very often these days. Also, I want to say how kind and comforting Dr. Campbell has been during the acupuncture sessions. He shows concern for me as a patient and has performed the acupuncture to provide much-needed pain relief. I look forward to continuing through this process in my new adventure.
Pharmacist, Glara Seo was so helpful in getting my prescription filled. I had a problem with my insurance company not wanting to cover my prescription when I changed doses. Glara took the time to speak with them on the phone several times over a few days and finally got it approved. I am so thankful. When it was all taken care of, I just wanted to kiss her! I can’t tell you how much it meant that she went above and beyond; she treated me like I was her only customer!
